SOCIAL HOUSING ESTATE IN A’IBOM READY FOR ACQUISITION
The phase one of the 50 Units Social Housing Estate comprising of three bedroom bungalows sited at Ikot Ntuen Nsit, Nsit Ibom LGA of Akwa Ibom State is ready for acquisition at subsidized rate.
The Managing Director of NOVONE Consult, Arc Ezekiel Nya-Etok revealed last Saturday during a Press Briefing that the subsidized Estate can be owned by Civil Servants from Grade Level 01 to 10 at the price of 8.5Million Naira while other interested members of the public will own it at 12.5million Naira with a 2.5percent initial down payment by both parties.
Arc Nya-Etok who manned the construction of the Estate said the completed first phase of the Housing has facilities of water reticulation, overhead tanks procured, industrial borehole, water treatment plant installed with a 25KVA generator, two transformers already installed and four fire hydrants with internal roads network which have been asphalted.
The NOVONE Consult Chairman stated that the Social Housing Estate which is the most safest Estate and the first of its kind in Akwa Ibom State will be operated as a Private Public Partnership as the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing provided the infrastructure, Akwa Ibom State Government granted the lands for the project while the facility will be managed by a private firm, NOVONE Consult.
The Social Housing Estate has a prime location as it affords easy linkage to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital and few minutes drive to the Federal Secretariat, Godswill Akpabio’s International Stadium, State Secretariat and major highways.
Meanwhile, Arc Nya-Etok conducted the Senior Pastor Ntia Ntia of the Full Life Ministry and Newsmen round the project for a first hand view of the infrastructure.
