ORPHANS BEG FOR ASSISTANCE AS E-REACH FOUNDATION VISITS

Many orphans in Mbiabam Village, Ibiono Ibom LGA have requested for various assistance to improve upon their living as E-Reach Foundation took her outreach program to the area to seek ways of giving lives meaning.
Leading the team recently to the Traditional Council, Mbiabam village, Ibiono Ibom LGA, Miss Enwono-Abasi Elisha who addressed the audience comprising of Chiefs and orphans of the community said it is the mission of the Organisation to provide help to the vulnerable in the society and ensure their lives have a colour of hope by offering life’s assistance for them to hold on and move up in fulfilling their destinies.
According to her, it is also the organisation’s mission to hunt out talents and hook them up with relevant platforms for further nurturing.
The Village Head, Chief Asuquo Jimmy Uwah thanked the Organisation for the visit and expressed hope for more willing public-spirited individuals to come to the aid of these children whom are sometimes helpless due to life’s happenstance.
However, the team discovered, Miss Otobong Edet Jackson who said she is willing to learn Hair-making after her Senior Secondary School Education.
Also, Miss Joy Edet Jackson, the elder sister to Otobong Edet said she is currently undergoing training in fashion design which she will need a sewing machine of her own to start her own fashion shop.
Mr. Ukeme Michael Jackson who is an artisan pleaded for assistance to learn carpentry for a more reliable source of living.
Other orphan children between the ages of seven and eleven years were given hope to boost their educational pursuit.
A widow, Mrs Cecelia Etim who also lost her only two children called for assistance to boost her trade.
The Organisation prayed for more collaboration from well-thinking and passionate members of the public to reach out to this category of persons in our society.
Meanwhile, messages against rape, encouraging personal hygiene and life coaching sessions were part of the mission of the Organisation.
