LG POLL: ATANANG SET TO SERVE, PICKS UDUNGUKO CHAIRMANSHIP FORM
An Indigene of Eyiota, Ward 5 in Udunguko LGA, Mr. Atanang Asuquo Osung said the reason he has picked the nomination form for Chairmanship position is to add value to governance at the grassroot level.
The Chairmanship hopeful picked the form on Thursday as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) commences activities building up to the 2020 Local Government election.
According to Mr. Atanang Asuquo Osung, “I am in the race in furtherance of good governance and even better it for Udunguko people. I am in to also give them sense of belonging.
“As a grass root mobilizer, I am passionate about bringing development to my people at the local area and ensure they have a sense of good governance.
“An open government is what I stand for and my people who are greatly farmers and fishermen, will need a boost to their trades which is the reason of my people oriented policies and programmes to add value to livelihood at the local area.”
According to Osung, the purchase of the “Expression of Interest for Local Government Chairmanship nomination form” is in furtherance of the desire to serve the people and the drive should be able to make any sincere leader focus when finally he obtains the people’s mandate.
He hoped and prayed for the people to offer him the opportunity to add value to governance at the local level as he has a rich baggage of programmes and policies that will help to advance the community and its people.
